Embracing Davao’s Rich Culture
Here in Davao, you don’t have to go to the mountains or to
riverbanks to experience the culture, heritage and traditions of Davao.
Aldevinco Shopping Center
The 10 tribes of Davao City is well represented in the
Aldevinco Shopping Center. Where you can experience a whole different kind of
shopping of pearls, malong, tandongs and everything Davao culture has. The
goods here are representations of how Davao City has evolved from generations
and also it depicts the story of our indigenous people.
Sanguniang Panglunsod ng Davao
Nowhere in the world can ever compare the beauty and
magnificence of Davao City; especially its well-disciplined, and peace-loving
Dabawenyos; and the most impressive progress it achieved over the years. The
City hall embodies the courage in governance Dabawenyos has. And no one above
will embody courage than our Mayor Duterte.

San Pedro
Catherdral
San Pedro Cathedral is not only the oldest church in
Davao City, but also the city's premier historical landmark. It was named after
San Pedro (Saint Peter), the patron saint of Davao. The original structure was
built in 1847 during the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadors, led by Don Jose
Uyanguren. The Cathedral is situated at the very heart of the city right across
the Sanguniang Panglunsod ng Dabaw.
Move to pulsating beats
From the Kadayawan’s “indak-indak sa kadalanan” to the most
energetic and to the youthful electronic music festivals, Davao City will
really move you through it’s beats.
Kadayawan Festival
Kadayawan never fails to amuse me on how creative Dabawenyos are ."Madayaw",
from the Dabawenyo word "dayaw", meaning good, valuable, superior or
beautiful. The festival is a celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gifts
of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of
living. It is held every third week of August.
Kadayawan Invasion and Arcadia Electro Music Fest
Kadayawan invasion organized by spectrum and Arcadia by Manic NIghtnings both really
feed the inner EDM lover within me. Not only that I love to party, but also I
love to be with friends and dance with them
